Love and Gain

This quote speaks strongly, but truthfully about love. Love is not about gaining something by being with them, it is about sharing yourself and bettering yourself because of them. Love isn't something to boast or brag about, but something you share with someone else because you want to. By saying this Charlie is able to understand what it is like to really love someone and not want anything more for yourself or them than what you already have in that moment. To be in love isn't weak because you want something that seems like an impossible fairy-tale. To be in love is to be with a person and want nothing more than what is there in front of you. where you have nothing to gain, but everything to lose, and yet you are wanting to risk it all for the person there with you.

"We accept the love we think we deserve" This quote is for all the people who seem to feel unloved or unwanted by people in their everyday life, it is meant for people who never put themselves out there and blend into the wall, and finally it is meant for people who find it impossible to love themselves.  Why should one have to love themselves before they can accept love from someone else, and why can people only accept certain love?
